class policies

For cancelation requests, please email me at hello@carlakasumi.com or contact me via the form on the website. I’ll issue a refund, if a request is made at least one week prior to the start date of a course, including private workshops. No make up classes are available at this time.

Pieces take time to go through two firings (a bisque firing followed by a glaze firing- I’ll explain the processes in detail during class), so most pieces will only be ready for pick up 3-4 weeks after the class is done. Pick up at your convenience.

All pieces made in a workshop will be glazed by me with clear glossy glaze to protect your pieces and make your design pop.

SHOP POLICIES

Most pieces in the shop are ready to go, but some need to be made from scratch. This is especially true for any bespoke pieces. It takes time to make your piece and put it through two firings (a bisque firing followed by a glaze firing); most will be done within 3-4 weeks.

There are no shipping options at the moment. Pick up at your convenience in Campbell. If you live within 5 miles of my studio, a delivery may be arranged!
